Nutritional Therapy

Nutritional therapy can be invaluable to supporting you towards a specific goal, managing a chronic health condition or helping you to create healthy habits that last a lifetime. Nutrition is no longer just about weight loss but about creating and achieving optimum health and helping to try to prevent future disease by bringing all your body systems back into balance and get them functioning correctly.

Consultations - What to expect

Initial Consultation

We will have 1 hour and 15minute meeting to gather as much information about you that we can by discussing:

  • Health history
  • Family history
  • Nutrient in-take
  • Body systems
  • Goals and aims for this consultation.

Once discussed I will prepare a personalised plan that I will deliver within 7 days, however more complex cases may take longer.

Follow-up Consultation

The initial consultation should be complimented by a 45-minute appointment within 4-6 weeks of following your plan to discuss revising your plan based on your progress and feedback.
Once discussed I will prepare a personalised plan that I will deliver within 7 days, however more complex cases may take longer.

To make sure I am achieving your goals we will be using a protocol called a Measure Yourself Medical Outcome Profile (MYMOP) Which is where I will measure your symptoms on your initial and your follow up so we can make sure we are on track and heading in the right direction to achieve optimum health for you!

Please note you may require some tests to be carried out in order to improve this service either at your own expense or via your GP.
